PM Modi is ending the Kashmir issue created by Nehru Sheikh Abdullah
After coming to power in 2014, the Modi government at the Center has given an edge to the mission of Kashmir and the Northeast, behind it is the vision of PM Modi as well as the inspiration of the principles of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Due to these steps of the Modi government, not only there has been a decrease in terrorist incidents in Jammu and Kashmir and a record increase in the number of tourists, but more than eight thousand militants have laid down their arms and taken the path of peace and tranquility in the Northeast.
With the removal of Article 370 from Kashmir, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s dream has come true. It was only after this move that the valley was actually integrated with India. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was the architect of India’s unity and integrity who united the scattered princely states.
Had Sardar Patel not been there, more than 550 princely states of the country would not have united and merged into India. Narendra Modi said that what would have happened if India did not have a leader like Sardar Patel? What would have happened if more than 550 princely states had not united? Most of our princely states had not shown the height of sacrifice, then we would not have been able to imagine the India we are seeing today. From Kashmir to Kanyakumari and the North East, Sardar Patel has accomplished these tasks only.
In Gujarat, PM Modi said that like in the past, the forces troubling India’s rise are still present. Different types of narratives are created to make us fight in the name of castes. History is also presented in such a way that countries are not connected. Modi ji’s saying is right. Janu’s tukde tukde gang has now infiltrated the Congress in the same way the communists had infiltrated the Congress after 1962.
The Narendra Modi government is paying enough attention to the North Eastern states of India in view of China’s stand. Many schemes were brought for the development of the North East mountainous region and this sequence is continuing. The hilly regions of Manipur, Tripura and Assam have especially benefited from these schemes.
It was only because of the policies of Narendra Modi’s government that Northeast could be saved from the fire of violence caused by extremist groups in the Northeast. Modi ji started the initiative of talks with the armed groups. Since 2014, more than eight thousand extremists have laid down their arms and joined the mainstream of the country. Compared to 2014, there is a 74 percent reduction in the incidents of militancy and 60 percent reduction in security forces and 89 percent reduction in civilian casualties in 2021.
Like the Northeast, Kashmir is now on the path of peace. Comparing the 37 months before and 37 months after the abrogation of Article 370 on 5 August 2019, there has been a 34 per cent reduction in terror incidents and 54 per cent reduction in the number of deaths of security forces.
Raja Chilli of Nagaland, Jackfruit of Tripura reached abroad, Lemon of Assam also exported to London:
With the initiative of APEDA, Jackfruit from Tripura was exported to London and Raja Chilli from Nagaland to London through a local exporter for the first time. In addition, Assam’s local fruit Leteku has been exported to Dubai and Assam’s betel leaves are being regularly exported to London. The GI products of the North Eastern region like Bhut Jolokia, Assam Lemon etc got the attention of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Modi ji mentioned this during his Mann Ki Baat programme. Assam lemons are now regularly exported to London and Middle East countries and by 2022 more than 50 MT of Assam lemons have been exported. Several consignments of Litchi and Pumpkin have also been exported by APEDA from Assam to various countries.
Revolutionary decisions in the interest of Jammu and Kashmir
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision to abolish Article 370 was an epoch-making decision. Then, despite not having a majority in the Rajya Sabha, PM Modi proved that he can accomplish what he sets his mind to. His decision is paying off. It is the result of the historic decision to abrogate Article 370 that Jammu and Kashmir is now truly moving towards becoming a ‘paradise’. Not only domestic and foreign tourists, but 1.62 crore tourists who came this year from all over the world broke the record of 75 years and kept pace with the heaven on earth.
